At Govt V.H.S.S for the Deaf School Jagathy , we aim to make the girls and boys hostel a genuine 'home away from home' and feel proud of our success in this ambition.

 

Boys and Girls benefit greatly from boarding at our school, not just because of the outstanding academic success they achieve, but also because of the extra time they have for recreational activities than if they travelled to school each day: every evening on the school site you will dozens of students enjoying supervised activities or playing sport and games together in their free time. These include activities in the mini-gym , football , cycling , and more.

Additionally, our staff works diligently to ensure a positive and productive experience for our students. For students up to 5th Standard, we provide dedicated maids to offer assistance for any of their needs. Matrons are also on hand to ensure all our boarders have someone to confide in, and our skilled cooks provide nutritious meals daily. Below is a the usual daily schedule of boarder at our school.
